Time for ... making a quilt (okay - it´s a very small one - but it IS a quilt!)

My physio therapist is having a baby girl. And because I love the tradition of making a quilt for a new baby I started to make one for her! (And a little stroller blanket is not too big to master - exercise for my bigger ones):

Meine langjährige Physiotherapeutin bekommt ein baby! Und da ich die Idee so schön finde, für ein neugeborenes eine Decke zu nähen - habe ich eine gemacht :)  (und außerdem ist so eine kleine Decke eine feine Übung für die geplanten großen)

That´s the first layout - my quilting math - once again - failed! So I had to add some border to achieve my planned size:) Yesterday I finished the quilting on it:

Das ist der Anfang - meine Rechnerei hat mich mal wieder im Stich gelassen - zu klein! So durfte ich noch einen Rand annähen....gestern habe ich dann gequiltet:

 Today I´ll finish the binding and the label - yeah!!

Ich liebe diese Streifen! Heute mache ich das Bin ding fertig und natürlich das Label - yeah!

Yesterday I saw this picture by Susan (chickenfoot) .. I couldn´t resist ... so this little one is on a quilt block and on a little pouch... (my son said the day before that I should make a dog on one block as I have to make 3 more to finish my quilt ... what a coincidence!)

Gestern habe ich dieses Photo von Susan gesehen ... ich konnte nicht wiederstehen und habe diesen zuckersüßen Hund auf Stoff gebannt: einmal auf einem QuiltBlock und einmal als kleines Täschchen...
