Time for ... new bags

I have made this some days ago but never managed to post a picture of it .... "flying roofs and other insanities". A friend of mine, Barbara Wünsche-Kehle, a wonderful artist, has made an object out of paper and wire - flying roofs ... I just adore this object - this is my interpretation in 2D.

 A shoulder bag, made of reused jeans, upholstery fabric and new designer fabrics. Open edge appliques, machine quilted and handstitched details - so much fun!!

Ich habe diese Tasche schon vor einigen Tagen fertiggemacht - aber habe es nicht geschafft, ein Photo einzustellen... "Fliegende Dächer und andere Irrsinnigkeiten".
Eine Freudin, Barbara Wünsche-Kehle, eine wundervolle Künstlerin, hat ein Draht-Papier-Objekt hergestellt, das mir soooo gut gefällt und mich zu dieser Interpretaion verführt hat:) (also Babs - wenn Du mal wieder bei mir vorbeischaust ... ich habe zwar kein Fenster für dein Objekt - aber es hat mich "verfolgt" - und nicht losgelassen :) Ich LIEBE Deine Drahtojekte!!


Eine Schultertasche, aus recyceltem Jeans, Polsterstoff und neuen Designerstoffen. Applikationen, maschinengequiltet und handbestickt - das hat Spass gemacht!

I wanted to take some pictures "in action" - but my model unfortunatly had no time this week - and now its raining cats and dogs - no picture light ...:( maybe next week - then I put it in the shop)

Eigentlich wollte ich ein paar Photos in "action" machen - aber mein Photomodell war diese Woche ausgebucht (grins) - und nu regnets in Strömen ... (vielleicht nächste Woche, dann stelle ich die Tasche in mein Shop)

But now a LITTLe sneak of my new project ... recycling meets new meets ...

So - und nun nur noch ein kleiner Ausschnitt und Ausguck auf mein neues Projekt ...

I´m struggeling with the shape .....not so simple :)


Ich kämpfe aber gerade noch mit der Form ... nicht so "simple" ...
